Fall is in the air
Pirate ship playground which they all loved
I love Fall!! My favorite time of year are the Holidays and fall is the start of it all. Cooler weather, crisp air, cozy blankets, warm sweaters, warm colors, leaves changing, Thanksgiving, Christmas trees, Christmas music-I love it all, you get the idea. So, to start off the Fall season we went to Patterson Farm with some friends to get a pumpkin. The kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave until we told them at the end we would get ice cream.

9 month check-up
The boys had their 9 month check up at the doctors yesterday. They are getting so big. Connor is 20 lbs 2oz and 26 1/2 inches long. For weight he is in the 50% and for height is only in the 5%. He is a chunky little boy. Zander is 20lbs 6oz and 27 1/2 inches long. He is in the 50% for weight and 25% for height. This is the first time since they have come home from the hospital that Zander has weighed more than Connor.
Connor says ma-ma and da-da. I have been trying to get it on video, but he usually only says it when he is crying. Zander says da-da and ga-ga. They can both sit up on their own, but Connor can sit up a little longer than Zander.

9 month photos
On Saturday we took the kids in to get the boys 9 month photos taken. Since it is October we also had pictures taken in their costumes. I just can't believe it has been 9 months since the boys were born! Time has flown by! I can't believe how big there are getting. They are such good boys and we are so blessed to have them.
Disney World's of Fantasy on Ice
I was planning on taking Ellie to Disney Worlds of Fantasy on Saturday afternoon, but then, at the last minute, Tim got some tickets for the box seats for Saturday evening so we were able to invite some friends to join us. The girls had so much fun! Afterwards, I asked Ellie if she liked it and she threw her hands in the air and said "It was Great!"

Emma's Ambassadors
Yesterday, Ellie and I had the opportunity to walk in the Buddy Walk in support of Down Syndrome. It was a one mile walk around the pond/lake at Freedom park. Ellie had her shirt signed by Sir Purr (Carolina Panther mascot). She was afraid to get close to Sir Purr so she threw her shirt at him. However, after a little encouragement she got closer. Dora was there and Ellie was so excited to meet Dora. It was a great day to show our support for Emma and all those with Down Syndrome. With a 90% abortion rate for a down syndrome diagnosis, I am glad we could show our support in some way.
