Halloween

Our care group had a neighborhood outreach this year and then we took our kids out trick-or-treating. It was lots of fun.

The girls went to a trunk-or-treat one evening before Halloween. Isn't that just the cutest pumpkin costume??

Ellie was Fancy Nancy, Connor was a dragon, Zander was a dinosaur, Madison was Tinker Bell

She was very confused as to what we were doing and where we were going

The fastest gun slinger in the East

Madison loves it when Gracie holds her

Awwww....

Madison was very excited to see they were giving out candy. She wanted to keep taking some and eat it right away. She was not happy when we told her no. The boys understood this year and they were excited to go door to door.

Pumpkin Carving

Time to carve those pumpkins. This year Ellie wanted to carve her own and a part of that is cleaning it out :)

Zander was very interested in what Ellie was doing

She did a good job. She (with daddy's help) drew the face she wanted and then started cutting

The finished product

Madison wanted to see what was inside a pumpkin

Zander wanted to see also

Connor just wanted to ride around with his sunglasses on-he was pretty funny

This is mommy's finished product

Attempting a photo

Is it too much to ask for a photo of all the kids with their pumpkins??? Yes, yes it is! This is what you would hear from me while trying to take these:  Zander, don't bite, sit up, everyone look at me, sit still, smile, don't pinch, don't touch, look at mommy, smile, don't squint your eyes, look at mommy, smile.... and on and on it goes. And about 50 pictures later these are the best of them. Hmm...there is always next year :) (of course I think I said that last year). Gotta love it and work with what you get :)
Thankfully, Lindsay was able to get a good picture of them as you can see from the top of the blog. Thank you Lindsay!! I don't think I would have any good pictures of them if it wasn't for you. :)

Is Zander growling??

Connor wouldn't stop singing so Zander.....(look below)

Connor wouldn't stop singing so...Zander pinched his neck

I had to add this picture because it is SO cute!!

Getting our pumpkins

Looking for the perfect pumpkin

Connor wanted to touch all of them. In fact, he picked up a very large pumpkin and threw it in the street. Thankfully it didn't break!

Where to begin?

look at that adorable face!

Wow, there are a lot of pumpkins!

See, Zander can be sweet.

Connor found his

Zander found his

Madison finally found hers

Ellie wanted one big enough to carve :)

It was a very warm day so we all had an ice cream treat when we were done.
