Pumpkin Patch

Well, its fall and that means it is time for a trip to the pumpkin patch. After pumkin picking, and playing on the slides, we all had ice cream. What a fun day for everyone.

Can you believe we got all the kids in the photo?! Next year we will have to work on them all looking at the camera.

Taking a tractor ride down to the pumpkin patch. The boys didn't know what to think, and as soon as we started moving Zander started crying. Later on when he saw the tractor driving by he growled at it. It was so funny.

Look at those little helpers. So cute. That is Tristan holding Zander's hand and Gracie holding Connor's hand. Where is Ellie, you might ask. In this picture she is with Piper behind the Pilgram cutouts. But the rest of the time, she was off and running-lots of fun to be had. The boys did fairly well trying to keep up. For the most part, the boys followed along wherever we went. There were lots of open spaces for them to run around and explore.

This was a huge slide. It went so fast and the kids loved it. There may have been a few collisions and injuries from it, but Ellie couldn't stop talking about how fun it was and how fast it was. Zander wanted to go on it, but I thought it may be a little to fast for me (I get sick from the slides at Monkey Joe's), so maybe next year he can try it on his own.

They did have little slides for the boys and they enjoyed those a lot.

Here is a little video of the boys. When they first started wrestling they were both laughing, but by the time I got the video camera out Connor became a little upset because Zander is stronger than him and he was clearly not the winner. It was actually really funny to watch them. I also added some photos (some show Connor having fun).

Co-op

In c0-0p Wednesday, the kids dissected crayfish. I was so grossed out that I volunteered to take pictures and Lindsay was kind enough to step in and help Ellie. And by popular demand from family members, I have posted, at the end, a video of Ellie's weekly presentation. This week it was on a family pet.

Apple pickin'

Today was a gorgeous day in the mountains! and a gorgeous day for picking apples. We went to Apple Hill Orchard in Morganton. Ellie was so excited to go and she had so much fun! I think the boys enjoyed walking around the orchard also.

We started the day with a picnic lunch. Look at those big boys sitting at a picnic bench!

The boys each got their own apple and they carried them the rest of the day (and they tried eating it). They really liked having their own to carry.
