God is SO GOOD!

There are so many ways that God is SO good to us and SO faithful to us. There are endless examples of how God has provided for us and been faithful to us. Just in the last day and a half, I have two examples of how God has been so incredibly good to our family. (there are many more in the last day and a half, but these are just 2 examples).
First, I am so very blessed that God has us right where we are. We have the BEST most WONDERFUL neighbors and friends ever!! Yesterday, when Connor had to be rushed to the ER yet again for breathing issues, I could leave, knowing that Zander and Ellie would be taken care of. I did not have to worry about them, or think of what to do with them. I did not have to wonder how Tim was going to get to the hospital (since he rides the bus and has no car at work). I rode in the ambulance, but I did not have to worry how I was going to get home. I did not have to worry about any of that at all. God knew that we would need help yesterday and He provided our friends and neighbors to be home and willing to help. All of our neighbors helped us yesterday and I can not thank them enough for everything! God provided these neighbors (who gave up their entire day to serve us). God is SO good to us!
Secondly, this morning I read some about what is happening in Uganda. Let's just say, not a lot. Things seem to be moving so slowly (with getting the issues with the US Embassy and the Ugandan govt resolved). I get so frustrated some times, I worry about Ruth and ask God why He doesn't want her to be in her forever home where she can be cared for and loved. Ok, then I pray and pray and pray. Well, this morning before my shower I read some of what is happening and then I prayed. I told God I WOULD trust Him and that I WOULD trust in His perfect timing and His perfect plan. I reminded myself that God loves Ruth SOOOO much more than I do. And I felt re-assured that God IS taking care of her. Then, I took my shower. Right after my shower I checked my email. God is SO good. I had an email from somone I met in July at Sanyu. They went back and are there right now. They heard that I was the one adopting Ruth (they left before we made that decision) and she sent me an email to tell me how she will take care of Ruth and love on her while she is there. How kind of God to do that. To let me know that yes, He loves Ruth and is sending people to her that will care for her. He has been doing that all along. I have been sent pictures of her and stories of her from others there also. How kind of God to do that! God did not have to do that for me to trust Him, but how incredibly kind that He did!
