One morning we took the kids down by the inlet to watch the airplanes coming in for landings and to walk around.

| A very common sight and sound in Anchorage. I had forgotten how constant and frequent the sound of small planes in the summertime are in Alaska until we went back recently. |

| Then we took the boys to the airport to watch the float planes land on the water. The boys were SOOO excited to see this!! They LOVED it!! And being that my dad loved small planes it was fun to see such excitement in my boys also. |
