Look what Zander did!

I was sitting at the table and I turned around and this is what I saw. Zander stood up all by himself. Then he sat himself down and then stood up again. He is doing so well!! He was so excited to be able to do that.

Finally!!!

I can't believe both boys can now hold their own bottle! YEAH!! It seemed to take forever for them to learn this, but they have. Connor learned this first and Zander always refused. Then one day he held it and I haven't given him a choice since.

Merry Christmas

On Christmas morning we woke up and made Cinnamon rolls. The boys seemed to really like the cinnamon rolls-especially the frosting part. Then it was time to open presents. Ellie was so excited. My favorite part of the morning was seeing how excited the kids get. The boys didn't know what to think. They liked opening the presents, but they really liked eating the paper and bows. In the afternoon, we went to the Holbrooks house for Christmas dinner. After dinner, we palyed the wii while the kids played and napped.
There will be more pictures on shutterfly-I took over 500 pictures on Christmas morning. So, I will start working on that soon.

White Elephant Party Gift

Well, our care group had a Christmas party with a white elephant gift exchange. Tim got a dancing mouse that sings "It's Raining Men" and Ellie loves it. Thanks Matt.

Silly Ellie

Ellie is so silly-take a look at how her mind works:

We took her to see Santa at the mall.

Santa: What do you want for Christmas?

Ellie: I want a baby that goes pee-pee in the potty. (She tells everyone that)

Then a the next day:

Tami: Ellie, I have a birthday present for you. Do you want to open it?

Ellie: Yeah.

She opens the present and it is a baby that goes pee-pee. Is she excited?

Ellie: I can't have this, Santa is getting me one.

Tami: Maybe you can play with this one.

Ellie: I can't. I can't have it.

Then she proceeded to put the doll down. So we told her that this baby does more than pee-pee on the potty, it also burps. Wow-she liked that and decided that she could play with it.

Tami: What are you going to name her?

Ellie: I don't know

Tim: Is there a girls name that you really like? You could name her that.

Ellie: Yes, there is. It is Ellie.

So, since her favorite girl name is Ellie, then her baby is also named Ellie.

Later that night:

Tim: Come to the table Ellie, it is time for dinner.

Ellie: I can't. I am feeding my baby.

Tim: You can feed her later. She is pretend.

Ellie: No she is not pretend! Ellie is very real daddy.
