Wedding

We went to Alaska to celebrate my very dear friend's wedding. We have been friends for 34 years and I was so excited for her! I haven't been back to Alaska for probably 12 years. It was so fun to be back and see everyone and to be able to bring our kids to show them where we grew up.

First thing is first....the wedding rehearsal dinner.

Little mama

Madison is such a little mama. She loves taking care of her brothers. I just love watching her with them!! If they cant reach something she will pick them up to help them, she helped them carry their backpacks through the airport when we were going to Alaska, and when Connor was too afraid to jump into the lake to swim she swam over to him and told him she would jump with him. She loves her brothers! (And the boys are always the first ones to compliment her after she gets her hair done or wears a new cute outfit.)

Boys

Lately the boys have taken up wrestling with each other ALL THE TIME! In these videos we were in Alaska waiting to go to the airport to fly home.

I was so impressed with Madison. The day before, we took the kids to a park, and Tim worked with Madison on the monkey bars. She wasn't able to do them by herself. When we got to this park she tried and tried until she got it! No one else in the family (Tim didn't try but I did) was able to do the rings. She was determined to do them all by herself and she did! (I couldn't make it past the 2nd one) She has a strong grip and a determined attitude. :) The cutest part was Connor came running up saying "your doing it Madison, your doing it!!" He was so excited for her!

Last day of school

The boys last day of school was bitter sweet. I didn't not expect to get so chocked up!! The boys really loved their teachers and friends! It was sad because they will be starting a different school for kindergarten and they had WONDERFUL teachers!!! But I was excited because summer was starting!! (I think I dislike school more than anyone in the house!)

This is Zander in his classroom. Zander's classroom award was for being creative. He really likes to draw and when he was told to draw an animal he would draw a zoo. :)

This was Connors best friend! Everyday when I would ask how school was, if he wasn't' there, school was not as fun.

Perseverence

At the boys school, each month they choose a character trait and then choose a child from each class from Pre-K through 2nd grade that exhibits those traits. Zander was chosen to receive the award for the character trait of perseverance. When I saw the letter from his teacher I could not stop laughing. This DEFINITELY describes Zander PERFECTLY! I wish I had a picture of Connor reaction to Zander getting an award. He was so excited for his brother!!
