Lunch date

This is the boys first lunch date with dad. Dad wanted everyone at work to be able to see his boys. Ellie was so excited that when she saw dad she yelled out "Daddy" and ran to him with her arms open and grabbed him. I am sure that made dad feel loved.

Swim lessons continue

Ellie had her 2nd swim lesson today and she did much better. She was excited about it before we got there and she didn't cry or scream. I took her to the pool in our neighborhood on

Zander rolls over

Zander rolled over from his belly to his back on Monday. We are trying to get it on video, but he has not done it since then. It only happened the one time, but if it happens again hopefully I will have a video to post.

Dedication

Sunday was baby dedication at church.

Happy Father's Day to my husband

Dear Tim,

Happy Father's Day. You are such a great father to our children. You have set such a good example for them. You work very hard to provide for us and then after a long day, you come home ready to play with Ellie, help with the boys, and just do things that need to be done. You serve us so well. You have made your family your priority and it shows in all that you do and the decisions you make. During the hard times with the boys, you made us the priority and took the time off work, even though you are now far behind on your hours for the year. When I am sick, you stay home to help out. When my dad was not doing well, you took to the time off work and bought us tickets to go out to see him. Thank you for always putting us first and making us the priority. By looking at your life your kids will know that you love the Lord, you love your wife, you love your children, and you enjoy spending time with us. You show us this on a daily basis. Thank you for all that you do and the example you set for our children. I love you very much!!

Happy Fathers Day

Happy Father's Day to my father-in-law. Tim wrote a letter that is below, but I wanted to take the opportunity to say a few things. You have been a great success in the most important job as a parent and that is you have raised three children who love the Lord. It is such a joy to see you as a grandpa to our children. Ellie has so much fun playing with you and I know the boys will too.










Dear Dad,

I want to thank you for all the countless times that you invested yourself in my life. I think back with fond memories of playing basketball in the drive, our canoe trips through the Swanson Lake Chain, and fishing trips along the Kenai River. These moments are among some of my most cherished memories from growing up.

You also taught me what it means to serve God by the faithful example you set. Though money was tight at times, I never felt like we were poor or that God would not provide. I remember how you and Mom faithfully gave week after week though money was scarce.

I can truly say that the example you set helps me strive to be the best father I can be. I am very proud to be your son and I thank God that you are my father.
