It's gone =)

We are no longer homeowners. We closed on the house Friday morning. We have to give a very big thank you to all of you who helped us paint. The new homeowner said at closing that he was a graduate student and he looked at several houses with paint colors he didn't like and he would not buy a home that needed to be painted since he didn't have the time. He said he really liked our paint colors and they would work well for him. So thank you to Lindsay who pushed us into painting and arrainged the painting party, and to all who gave up their weekend to help us. Thank you!!

The boys have their first teeth!! Connor has two teeth on the bottom front and Zander has one tooth on the bottom. I tried to get a picture of Connor b/c his were more visible than Zander's.

I went to Florida with Dawn for my doctors appointment and we got to have a day of fun at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. Tim and I went there 17 yrs ago for part of our honeymoon and it has changed a lot. Most of the rides that Tim and I went on were no longer there and they have expanded on the park even more. I am looking forward to being able to bring the whole family. I am hopeful that we will be able to take Ellie next year so she can see Cinderella's castle and Mickey Mouse. Tim asked Ellie if she wanted to see Cinderella's home and she said no that she wanted to see her castle, not her home. She also said she wanted to give Mickey Mouse a hug. It would be so much fun to share that experience with her and I look forward to it!

Above are some pictures of Universal. The first ride we went on was the hulk and it was a roller coaster. I screamed so loud and so much I hurt my throat. I guess that will teach me!

New apartment

We are in our new apartment. A very BIG BIG thank you to all who helped us with packing, moving, and unpacking!!! We could not have done this without you all!! Our old house is empty and we are looking forward to living in our new house. But right now we are in our apartment trying to unpack and organize. It is hard going from a house to a two bedroom apartment with limited room. Sunday morning Ellie asked us when we were going home. We told her this is our home now and she said "no it is not, this is an apartment." Today when we were out and about I told her we were going home and she said "to our real home or to our apartment?" She also asked me if were going to move into our new home on this Saturdsay. I guess she is looking forward to our new home also. Here is a few pictures of our new apartment from Saturday.

Living in chaos

We are living in chaos. We are trying to get moved by Saturday. Yes we are crazy. Having two babies makes it a little more challenging with things like finding the time to pack, but we are managing. We will just be living with a complete mess for a few more days. Ellie has been telling me how messy it is around here and she is right. We found a two bedroom apartment (that's right-two bedrooms) to live in temporarily until our house if finished.

Our Trip

We are back from St. Thomas and we had sooo much fun! We swam in the ocean, laid on the beach, and went snorkling. It was the perfect time together to de-stress before all the craziness begins. Big Big thank you to those who watched our kids for us!!!!! It blessed us tremendously!!!! We were at St. Thomas 17 yrs ago on our honeymoon (our cruise ship was there for a day) and Tim said he always wanted to go back. This was such a nice anniversary surprise. Thank you Tim and everyone that watched our kids and made this possible.
