Disney Day 3-Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios was mostly shows. (heated, indoor shows :)) They had a really scary roller coaster ride for bigger people. (I may have burst some people's ear drums from screaming) and they had a theme park play area that the kids really loved. We divided the day up and went in the morning and then went back in the evening for the light show. Seeing all those lights was pretty amazing!

Playhouse Disney live on stage. After the show Ellie said that it was more for babies, but it was still good and that she thought the "little ones" really liked it. :)

Minnie Mouse

Both the boys really love watching Mickey Mouse so they were really excited to meet Minnie. This is the only character Zander would stand by for a picture.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids theme park play area. There were slides and all sorts of fun huge things to climb on.

It is so rare to get a picture of Zander with such a big smile!



There were caves to explore

We went back at night for the light show. It was so amazing to see all those lights! And they had the light show set to music. So fun!

Disney Day 2- Animal Kingdom

On the second day we went to Animal Kingdom. I had no idea what Animal Kingdom was, but I thought it would be more like a zoo. Well, it wasn't. Most of the animals we saw were on the safari ride through Africa. There were rides and a dino play area with  huge slides for the kids.

We went to a lion king performance




At the end, a performer came up in the stands and asked my kids if they wanted to go down front and walk around. Zander immediately wanted to go and I was so proud of him. He is so shy and I never imagined that he would go willingly.  Ellie and Madison jumped at the chance to go. They were so cute!





Then we went to dino land.





This was a gated play area for the kids. See the big yellow slide in the background? They had several slides and the kids LOVED playing in here.

Disney Day 1

This is picture overload here!! I took almost 300 pics the first day! (don't worry I didn't put them all on here).



We are going to Disney!!! (the kids did great in the car. I was surprised!)







As soon as we entered the park it started raining. And as soon as we got the poncho's on everyone it stopped. Oh well at least that means it was sunny for the rest of the stay.

This was Connor's reaction when we told him we were going on the carpet ride. He was scared the first several rides he went on.





Ok, this ride....NOT good for little kids. My kids were crying and poor Connor screamed and cried until daddy put him on his lap.

Tim and I could not take the kids on the tea cup ride. YUK! It made me dizzy just trying to take pictures of them. They went REALLY fast!

Mid-day parade. The kids were thrilled to see Mickey. Ellie tells people that she didn't get Mickey's autograph because he had too much work to do in the park.





Madison didn't let the fact that she was too short for most rides get her down. She hammed it up for all those waiting like us.





There they go! This ride was fast and Connor was a little scared. Zander and Ellie really enjoyed it!

 


After lots of rides, it was time to see the Princesses

Then it was time to met the fairies!! Even Connor was excited about this! (He watches Tinker Bell movies over and over, at his request) Walking in to see the fairies we were told that we would shrink (to explain why the fairies were so big:)) and Ellie asked us what would happen if her autograph book and pen didn't shrink. The things kids think of!





When Connor saw that the girls were meeting THE Tinker Bell....well, he had to go over and met her too.




Vidia certainly had sass!




And then we ended the day with the final parade. Day 1 was a full day! After day 1, Zander kept saying "no home, no home..." He definitely wasn't done at Disney. :)
